As of January 1, 2025, California’s Senate Bill (SB) 1206 prohibits the sale of bulk hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) with a global warming potential (GWP) greater than 2,200.

Refrigerant R507A a non-ozone depleting, azeotropic blend of HFC refrigerants R-125 and R-134A. R-507 is blended to closely match the properties of R-502, making it a good refrigerant for some medium and most low temperature refrigeration applications.
